Omg!!! This was an awesome read!!!! I love the openness and transparency Kim gives. I’m a single mother of 3, married twice and divorced twice . Beautiful Broken help me confirm my truth , what I’d already known. Anger, bitterness, hurt, jealousy , faithless, and most of all ,I battle with loving me ( completely BROKEN). This book ,combined with prayer, and as Kim stated “laying in the presence of Godâ€, has lit fire under me. This book “ literally “ changed my prayer life . I wanna enjoy singleness , I want to bathe in the presence of God . If you find yourself broken , bitter, unforgiving , and you KNOW, you don’t love YOURSELF , get out of DENIAL, “YOUR BROKENâ€. This is the book for you!!!!! Let God use “ beautifully broken “ to get you on the road to a successful Journey called HEALING!!!!!🙌🙌
Beautifully written. You will laugh, cry, think and realize. Kimberly is one awesome lady of God. I loved the realness and the rawness of this book. How she was so open for all to see and how she used her life to minister to others. I believe many who read this book, will begin to see healing is there, and she offers her testimony as a beginning to that process in this book.
I LOVE THIS BOOK!!! It's been a while since I have read a book where the author was just truly authentic and transparent. I thank God for Pastor Kim Pothier and for using her story to touch others. I have taken so many notes and highlighted nearly the entire book because there is so much that resignates with my spirit and what I have went through and where I currently am in my life right now. There's something for everyone in this book that people will be able to relate to. She talks about deliverance.....revelation....hope for your future that if you were down it's not over because God has an awesome plan for your life. I love how she was transparent and talked in a chapter about being married twice and divorced. That chapter really touched me and I spent like a day just meditating on what was said and it really helped me because that is one subject that you just don't hear many people talking about in church. Divorce is a painful and devastating thing to go through and sometimes people can get stuck in that pain and don't know how to move forward even if they wanted to. The author touches on that and much more in the book. She teaches about praying the blood of Jesus over our lives. I learned a valuable lesson about that. And she shows you how to get unstuck and move forward from past circumstances. I love this book and it is so worth every penny paid. In fact even though I have the Kindle version I will be buying a hardback copy as well. I like to keep certain books in my library in case I need to pull it out for reference or to share with someone else. Beautifully Broken is a great book!!!!!! A best seller!!!
Pros - Good positive message on bouncing back from life's failuresCons - It was a bit too ... "Pentacostal" for me (if you'll allow me to use that as an adjective). I realize that's an odd complaint. I'm a conservative Christian and both my parents are pastors. But I do not believe there's a devil in every bush, nor do I think every negative thought is Satan trying to crush my soul. I believe in God, but I also believe we are human, and therefore prone to both the wonders and weaknesses of biology and the human psyche.I couldn't bring myself to finish it. But I can see how others find it helpful. I'm just glad I only lost $6 on the transaction.
Great book!!! Very simple to read... and encouraging I loved it!... I read it in 2 days I didn't want to put it down. It's not very detailed about her previous marriage/struggles. She mentions it was abusive she left, lost everything moved with her parents...and then began to use social media to encourage others....hence becoming the social media guru she is now. I agree it does start off a little slow....but the scriptures were great, the font was great, the book design concept of the book is awesome....overall good read.

This nourishing and healing book teaches the most neccesary lesson of all: TRUST GOD!
Pastor Kim is amazing and absolutely a blessing to this world! Her transparency and commentary have soothed me in many ways. This book has been an absolute page-turner, and I have been enriched by it. Any one going through a terrible and/or devastating break-up/heartbreak/separation/divorce.......I HIGHLY RECOMMEND READING THIS BOOK!
My 15 yr old daughter loved Ms Jonespothier and digested the book wanting more. She will be rereading the book until Ms Jonespothier writes another one.
