Great historical record of a great aircraft company. For many years Consolidated/Convair WAS San Diego.
For anyone interested in WWII aircraft and how they were made, this is a very enjoyable little book. Photos are printed well on good quality paper. My only wish is that the format was a little larger.

Enjoyed the book immensely. The pictorial history of Consolidated Aircraft was done very well. Everything from SanDiego Air Museum is always professional and very fact laden.
I gave this book as a gift to my Father-in-Law as I knew he held great regard for the Navy Catalina PBY he flew during WW-II. It turned out to be a perfect stocking stuffer; he remarks frequently at learning new facts about the Consolidated Company, and about all the other aircraft they constructed during the war years. He is an avid reader and found the book to be both interesting and informative. I would recommend this book if you have a history buff, or an ageing WW-II retired pilot, interested in reading about the old (glory) days; it was a perfect gift.
